Privacy Policy

Retirement Edge ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through retirementedge.vip, how we use it, which service providers receive it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. Your email address when you reserve a spot or subscribe, your first name if you enter one, and which research you asked us to send — 401(k), TSP, or Alpha Edge. Those three things are everything the sign-up form sends us.
• Information collected automatically. Technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring source, clicks, scrolling, navigation, and site-performance information. Hosting and security systems may process this information in server logs. Our subscription handler temporarily uses a one-way hash derived from the requesting IP address to limit automated or repeated submissions.

We do not ask for or store your Social Security number, your account numbers, or any login credentials to your retirement accounts. Our calculators do ask for figures like your age and a starting balance so they can draw a result on your screen — you never create an account with us, and we never ask you to connect a retirement account.

How we use your information

• To send you the research briefings, product updates, and launch information you signed up for.
• To send you the research you chose, and to address you by name.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the website.
• To prevent spam, rate-limit repeated form submissions, and protect the website.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Email and our email provider

We manage our email list through Kit (formerly ConvertKit), a third-party email service. When you submit the form, your email address, your first name if provided, and your choice of research are sent to and stored by Kit so we can manage your subscription and send the communications you requested. We use a double opt-in process — you must confirm your email before becoming a confirmed subscriber, though the submitted details may be stored from the moment you submit the form.

Cookies and analytics

We use two analytics services, and they serve different purposes.

Plausible Analytics provides aggregate measurements such as visits, traffic sources, and pages viewed. It is configured to operate without analytics cookies, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors. You can read Plausible's data policy.

Microsoft Clarity helps us understand how pages are used through measurements such as clicks, scrolling, navigation, and site performance. Clarity loads for visitors without displaying a site-wide cookie prompt. Unless you have selected Allow, we send Microsoft a denied analytics-storage signal so Clarity operates in its limited, no-consent mode without a persistent Clarity visitor identifier. This activity is not linked by Retirement Edge to your name or email address.

After confirming an email subscription, you may choose Allow or No thanks. If you choose Allow, we grant analytics storage so Clarity can provide better continuity across pages and visits. Advertising storage remains denied. If you choose No thanks, analytics storage remains denied and Clarity continues in its limited, no-consent mode. We remember the choice in your browser's local storage so we do not ask repeatedly. Your choice does not affect your access to the site or your email subscription.

Microsoft processes Clarity data as our analytics service provider. For more information, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can also block or delete cookies and local site data in your browser settings; the site remains usable either way.

Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the site, measure its use, host it, and manage email communications, including Kit, Microsoft Clarity, Plausible Analytics, and our hosting provider. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the site, our users, or our legal rights.

Your choices

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you provided by emailing us at the address below. You can change or remove the locally stored analytics choice by clearing site data for retirementedge.vip in your browser; until a new choice is made, Clarity will return to its limited, no-consent mode.

Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as you remain subscribed or as needed for the purposes above, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
